Major Python update makes break with past

On Wednesday, December 3, 2008 the final version of Python 3.0 was released. This final version basically has modified some of the programming language, such as getting rid of some small annoyances. Recently, my ICT 12 class at Notre Dame Regional Secondary was working with Python therefore it interests me to see the new changes that have been made to the program. Python is widely used for web applications, with YouTube being one of the most popular. Python 3.0 can also be referred to Python 3000 or Py3K. The major difference with this new release of Python in comparison to the old version is that this is the first Python release that is intentionally backwards-incompatible.
