The One Laptop Per Child Association, Inc. (OLPC) is an U.S. non-profit organization set up to oversee the creation of an affordable educational device for use in the developing world. Its current focus is on the development, construction and deployment of the XO-1 laptop to promote children's education in developing nations. The OLPC G1G1 (Give 1 Get 1) promotion is expanding to Europe next week meaning that people are becoming more involved with this organization and wanting to help children get the education that they deserve.
